I met up with Marissa and Jerry in Detroit a few weeks ago for their glam Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session and I’m so excited to share these photos! It was the first time we got to meet in person and I had been looking forward to their session for weeks! We had a beautiful early summer evening and the weather was just perfect. Marissa absolutely wowed in her elegant long red dress and classic Louboutin heels! Jerry looked so handsome in his timeless black suit! They chose stunning outfits for their Detroit Institute of Arts engagement.

Marissa and Jerry wanted the classic marble backdrop of the DIA as their number one location for their engagement session and we captured so many gorgeous photos there! I had a hard time narrowing down favorites for this post! From there, we wandered around Detroit, including finding a fun parking garage rooftop to pop some prosecco! I love Marissa’s face in all of the champagne pop photos! She had so much fun!

These two are a super fun couple and they honestly love to have fun together. We stopped at a bar and Marissa and Jerry enjoyed drinks on the patio outside. They are hands down some of the cutest photos! It was great to just hang with these two and chat. They’re people you feel like you’ve known forever and I just love that about them.

Congratulations Marissa and Jerry! I loved spending time with you guys and getting to know you two! I cannot wait to celebrate you both at your Royal Park wedding next June! It’s going to be an incredible day!
