I met up with Emily and Chad on a blustery September day for their early fall engagement session at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House. Michigan inevitably throws a few weather curveballs in the fall, and while it was a little windy, these two handled it like champs! No matter the weather, the Ford House is always a perfect location for an engagement session. The architecture and views of the water can’t be beaten!

We strolled around the grounds for their fall Ford House session and these two made photos so effortless! I loved Emily’s chic navy dress! The photo of Emily and Chad twirling in the courtyard is an absolute favorite. But as always, dogs have the ability to steal the spotlight. They brought their sweet golden retriever Easton for a few photos and those are definitely favorites! Easton is such a sweetheart! Our dogs are so important to us and such special members of our families. I just love it when my couples bring their dogs to their engagement session!

Emily and Chad are such a sweet couple and I love how Chad makes Emily light up! They both have the best smiles! Their Fall Ford House engagement session was so much fun. I’m so glad we were able to capture these moments! These two actually got engaged during quarantine last year, and I love that they didn’t let anything stop them from celebrating their love! I can hardly believe their wedding day is finally here after a few pivots. They have taken everything in stride and nothing can stop Emily and Chad from getting married this June! I’m so happy for them!

Congratulations Chad and Emily! I am so excited to celebrate with you guys this weekend at The War Memorial! Your wedding day is going to be nothing short of amazing!
