Leading up to Stephanie and Nate’s May engagement session at the Ford House, we were obsessively checking the weather and praying for no storms! The forecast did not appear to be in our favor, but just a few hours before it looked like the rain would hold off for us and it did! I was so glad it turned out to be a nice evening for these two.

Stephanie and Nate are both doctors and these two met in the halls of the hospital. They are just adorable together and you can tell they are absolutely best friends. I love how much Nate can make Stephanie laugh! These two have the SWEETEST proposal story. Nate took his grandmother’s diamond and had it reset in a beautiful pave band for Stephanie’s engagement ring. He took Stephanie to Pittsburgh under the guise of celebrating her match for residency, but instead surprised her with a proposal overlooking Mt. Washington! It was the same exact spot where Nate’s parents got engaged 30 years ago! How amazing is that!? These two are very family oriented and traditional – I just love that about them.

I love the photos we were able to capture! The Ford house is one of my very favorite places for engagement sessions. There are so many beautiful spots to take photos! And these two could be professional models. I love how cute they are together and it shines through in these images. I had such a hard time choosing photos to blog – I have so many favorites! The photos by the waterfall are so beautiful and I love how Nate was helping Stephanie across the rocks. True teamwork!
