I am beyond thrilled to be sharing Jessica and Henry’s incredible Chicago wedding today! I had been looking forward to this special wedding for this super special couple for over a year. They were my first couple to book me for 2018! I got to spend Memorial Weekend in the city for their Chicago wedding and it was so fun. I love Chicago and I’ll take any excuse to visit!

Jessica and Henry are an amazing couple. I love all of my couples, but I sincerely adore these two and I wish we lived in the same city so we could hang out all the time! They are both unbelievably thoughtful, kind, and genuinely caring individuals. When I got to my hotel room in Chicago, there were two gift bags waiting for me with snacks, some of my favorite Sugarfina candies, and a beautiful blue Kate Spade tumbler with my initial on it (which, by the way, I use daily!). That’s just the kind of people Jessica and Henry are. They go above and beyond for everyone. Which is why these two are so loved by the people in their lives and why their wedding day was such a perfect celebration.

It was one of the hottest days in May, but the heat didn’t get them down. We started at the Hyatt Regency where everyone got ready. Jessica had the most beautiful details! I am still obsessed with her Jimmy Choo velvet heels and Henri Bendel earrings. Jessica and Henry wanted to do a private first look before their day kicked into full gear and I am so glad they did! It’s such a special moment and the photos from their first look are hands down some of my absolute favorites. Henry’s reaction to seeing Jessica is definitely one of the sweetest moments I have ever seen! It was just perfect. From there we went into the ceremonies! Jessica and Henry honored their families by having a traditional Chinese Tea ceremony and Korean bowing ceremony. It was so special to have their friends and family orchestrate these ceremonies! We then headed farther into the city to capture portraits before going to Gallery 1028 for their wedding ceremony and reception. I could go on and on, but I’ll let these images speak for themselves. It was a fabulous day from start to finish. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for these two.

I had SO many favorites from your Chicago wedding – it was nearly impossible to narrow it down. This may actually be my longest blog post yet and there are so many images I wasn’t able to include!! Jessica and Henry –  I hope you guys will cherish these photos for years to come and I hope you love them as much as I do! I can’t wait to share your entire gallery with you soon. It was an honor and a joy to spend this day with you!
