I met up with Kati and Brandon to photograph their lovely engagement session on a beautiful spring evening on Belle Isle in Detroit. We couldn’t have asked for a better day in May for photos! My favorite question I get is when a couple asks if they can bring their pup to their engagement session and the answer is always YES! I absolutely love it with couples bring their dog and Kati and Brandon have not one, but two super sweet pups that tagged along for theirs! Seriously, Marlow and Fin are just adorable and they were so well behaved the entire time we were in Detroit! I swear Marlow and Fin are smiling in these photos! I am just so in love with the photos of their sweet little family! They are absolutely precious!

Kati is best friends with Ashleigh, one of my 2018 November brides, and I remember Ashleigh telling me how much I would love Kati when I met her! And I definitely do! Kati and Brandon have been together since they were teenagers and it’s obvious these two are meant to be. I just love how Brandon can make Kati laugh! It’s the best when couples genuinely have fun together and you can tell that these two definitely do! Kati and Brandon seriously look like models, too. They couldn’t take a bad photo! We took some awesome photos at the Dequindre Cut before heading over to Belle Isle. The images by the fountain and the beach at Belle Isle are some of my all time favorites! I love all of the photos from their Detroit engagement session so much!
