Welcome to the Brp journal
2020 weddings required a lot of flexibility, creativity, and more love than ever before. Emma and Brett’s lovely wedding day was no exception. They replanned an incredible reception just weeks before their wedding date! Emma and Brett were married during a beautiful late summer tented wedding at their family’s private home after their ceremony at St. Hugo of the Hills Parish. The weather was lovely and their guests could not stop raving at how much fun they had from start to finish. These two have been together for quite some time making it all the more special to finally witness them become husband and wife!
Emma and Brett’s vision for their wedding day was the perfect combination of elegance and class complimented with the prettiest color palette. Moreover, the bridesmaids looked stunning in their timeless black dresses which made their bouquets of beautiful purple and ivory blooms really pop in their photos! Similarly, their wedding decor from ceremony to reception complimented the wedding style effortlessly. Beyond the aesthetic, let me tell you how unbelievable their catering was! It’s been the better half of a year and I still remember how amazing the food was. Especially the butternut squash gnocchi with gorgonzola – yum!
The day began at the lovely St. Hugo of the Hills Parish in Bloomfield Hills, MI where Emma and Brett promised each other forever. Afterwards, we captured their lovely bride and groom portraits on the grounds. The architecture of the chapel, sparkling pond, and green grounds were the perfect backdrop for their outdoor wedding photos. Then guests made their way to Emma’s family home for the reception, beginning with an al fresco cocktail hour. The bride’s mom completely transformed the tennis court on their private residence into the most beautiful and cozy space for the newlyweds’ tented reception. The fact that the bride and groom were able to celebrate their love dancing under the stars together at Emma’s childhood home was so special!
Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Spanski! Thank you again for choosing me to be your Michigan wedding photographer to capture your magical day. Your late summer tented wedding is one I won’t soon forget. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for your family. Wishing you years of love and laughter ahead!
