Welcome to the Brp journal
I have been looking forward to sharing Annemarie and Nick’s incredible wedding day at the historic Guardian Building in Detroit for weeks! The end of summer and beginning of Fall have been SO crazy but so wonderful. I have loved every minute celebrating all of my wonderful couples!
The story of Annemarie and Nick’s day at the Guardian Building is kind of a crazy one. Originally, these two were supposed to have their reception at the beautiful Belle Isle Boathouse. Sadly there was intense flooding from all of the rain we got in May and June and the historic Boathouse had a lot of water damage. About six weeks before the wedding, Annemarie and Nick had to find an entirely new space to have their reception! This would cause any normal people to freak out, but these two handled it calmly and gracefully. I really think this says so much about Annemarie and Nick as individuals and as a team. They are two of the kindest and most hardworking people. I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about these two. With the incredible Kate of Purple Clover Events, they were able to shift their entire wedding plans over to the amazing Guardian Building downtown just weeks before the wedding!
Annemarie and Nick are so much fun and such a joy to be around. Fun really is the word I would use to describe their day. There were so many fun moments and I loved the photos of Annemarie and Nick laughing and smiling during their ceremony. These two truly are best friends and partners. It was beautiful to witness and capture. Both of their families and friends were so welcoming and so much fun. I loved that their families were such big parts of their day. I have so many favorite photos from joyful and heartfelt moments during their day that it was hard to narrow this blog down! It’s a big one! Wait until you see the adorable photos of the flower girls practicing walking down the aisle before the ceremony! And the photos from Annemarie and Nick’s first dance as husband and wife are definitely all time favorites of mine!
Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Brondel! It was an absolute honor to photograph your wedding day and I am SO happy for you both! Wishing you many years of love and happiness!
