The end of last summer got away from me a bit and I didn’t get to blog every session I did – so I’m trying to blog a few of them now! Stephanie and Eric’s engagement session was so fun and I’ve been dying to share the images! I’m so excited I finally blogged!

The day before Stephanie and Eric’s engagement session, Stephanie texted me. She asked if we could change up locations and do a Downtown Detroit engagement session because they had been looking at my blog and loved all of my Detroit photos so much! Of course I said heck yes!!! I love any opportunity to shoot in Detroit and Detroit engagement sessions are always wonderful. It’s hands down one of my favorite places. The city has come so far in such a short amount of time – it is beautiful and thriving. I love hearing couples talk about sharing the great things about the city with their friends and family!

We started at the Detroit Institute of Arts and I love how Stephanie’s black dress pops against the cool marble! I love the DIA and photos there always end up being favorites! From there we headed into the city to capture more images on the streets and on the rooftop. The ones on top of the roof are my favorite ones from Stephanie and Eric’s gallery. Wait until you see these photos! The sunlight was so golden that evening and it made everything so beautiful!

Eric and Stephanie are just so sweet together and I love how genuine their smiles are in all of these images. You can just see the happiness in their faces! I’m so honored I get to capture their wedding! It’s going to be a wonderful day for an awesome couple. Congratulations Stephanie and Eric!! I can’t wait for your wedding in just a few weeks!
