I can’t believe Alexa and Rashad’s gorgeous Lovett Hall wedding at The Henry Ford was already a month ago!! Oh my goodness where has the time gone!? I’m SO excited to share their amazing day. Although it wasn’t the beautiful weather day we had hoped for and rained for the majority of the day, it was still so wonderful and we were able to capture the most amazing photos inside Lovett Hall and in the Henry Ford Museum! Plus, the sun came out for just a few minutes before dinner and we were able to take a few photos outside on the patio! Those couple of photos were definitely some favorites!

We started the day at The Henry Hotel where everyone got ready before heading to Lovett Hall for Alexa and Rashad’s first look. I still can’t get over their amazing first look photos!! Alexa glided down the staircase to meet her soon-to-be husband under a stunning crystal chandelier. Their reaction to seeing each other was the absolute sweetest! Wait until you see these photos!!

Alexa and Rashad have been together for over 10 years so their Lovett Hall wedding day was extra special! You can tell these two are so incredibly loved by their friends and family. They had the most awesome bridal party – seriously such a great group and so much fun! I absolutely loved their friends and family. It was so sweet to hear all the wonderful speeches from their friends and parents. These two got engaged on a on a cliff overlooking the amazing blue waters of Greece and while they wanted to get married in Greece, it was much more important to them that they had all of their friends and family present. So they decided to bring touches of Greece to Michigan for their celebration! The beautiful bright orchids, roses, and greenery throughout Lovett Hall represented the tropical feel of Greece and they even did bottles of olive oil infused with fresh herbs for their favors! How cool is that!?

Alexa and Rashad, you guys are so awesome and it was an honor to witness you guys become husband and wife! Thank you for choosing me to capture your wedding day and I hope you love your photos for years to come! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Pierce!!
