I still remember when Alyssa reached out last year and told me that they knew they wanted me to photograph their day and would work around my schedule to make it happen! It’s a huge honor when a couple chooses me AND works around my schedule! Alyssa and Mike are seriously one of the coolest, chillest couples I have ever met. I loved hanging out with these two – not once, but twice! The first time we tried to do their engagement photos back in the winter, it ended up being one of the coldest days of the entire year. We lasted about 10 minutes outside! We were lucky to escape frostbite ha! So needless to say we ended up rescheduling for the Spring at Stony Creek which was a WAY better choice. It was a perfect sunny day and nearly 70 degrees warmer than the first time we tried to shoot!

I met up with Alyssa and Mike at Stony Creek Metropark for their Spring session. We took some amazing photos in the woodsy areas of Stony Creek before heading over to the beach! I’m honestly not sure which spot was my favorite because I just love how all of their photos turned out! These two are so photogenic! And Alyssa’s smile is absolutely contagious. I love how Mike makes her light up. It’s just the sweetest!
