I met up with Annemarie and Nick a few weeks ago on a chilly, snowy day at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe to capture their engagement photos. It was definitely a cold day, but Annemarie and Nick handled the weather like pros! Annemarie and Nick currently live in Missouri, so they traveled in for their engagement session and we were hoping there would be snow on the ground for photos. January was a surprisingly snowless month in Michigan but it happened to snow the day of their session and it was so beautiful! The Ford House looked extra pretty all covered in white! It was definitely a cold January day and we had to take a few breaks in our cars to warm up, but these two made the cold look so good. I love the tiny snowflakes in all of their images!
Annemarie and Nick met online and instantly hit it off. It’s obvious that these two are best friends. I love how much fun they have together and how they’re both smiling in just about every photo! I remember Annemarie describing herself and Nick as silly, fun people and I definitely think you can tell. They even brought champagne so they could toast at the beginning of their session! Annemarie wore her grandmother’s ring on her right hand and her engagement ring on her left hand. I thought that was just so sweet and thoughtful. She specifically borrowed her grandmother’s ring just so she could wear it for her photos! I loved that so much!
Congratulations Annemarie and Nick! I hope you love your snowy winter engagement photos as much as I do! I can’t wait for your wedding in August on Belle Isle! I know it’s going to be an amazing day!
