Ashleigh and Matt were married three weeks ago today and their wonderful wedding at Solitude Links in Michigan was definitely one for the books! Where to even begin with these two!? I still remember the first time Ashleigh and I talked on Instagram over two years ago. She knew from the beginning she wanted me to be her photographer and it was seriously such an honor to capture her day. Ashleigh has genuinely become a true friend and I’m so glad she found me!

On the morning of Ashleigh’s wedding, I texted her because Michigan had gifted this beautiful bride with the first snowfall of the year – literally her dream day! Her response was she was in tears because she was so happy! All day long, Ashleigh and Matt were SO happy. Ashleigh absolutely radiated joy. She was just so over the moon to be marrying her best friend and starting their marriage. As much as Ashleigh cared about her wedding day, she was even more thrilled to become Matt’s wife and be married. It was so special to witness.

The snowy blanket covering the ground and pines at Solitude Links made the most beautiful backdrop for photos! The images we captured of Ashleigh and Matt by the water after their sweet First Look will definitely be some forever favorites of mine. And the images of all the bridesmaids in their wine-colored gowns with snowflakes in the air are just stunning! This group of ladies were such troopers! There was snow on the ground, rain drops in the air, and the temperature was about 35 degrees when we did portraits and they took it like champs! You’d never know everyone was freezing!

Ashleigh has been such a huge supporter of mine and it means the world to me! Two of Ashleigh’s bridesmaids are also BRP brides – I had the honor of photographing Shelby’s day this past August and I get to photograph Kati’s day next June! It was so special to get a photo with all of us together at the end of the night!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Andrews! Your day was nothing short of magical and I’m so glad I got to be apart of it! Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness!
