To say it’s been a busy Fall is an understatement! I can hardly believe it’s mid-November already! Crazy!! I’m finally catching up on a few sessions I wasn’t able to blog and I’m so excited to share this one! I met up with Liz, Dan, and their adorable dogs in Dan’s hometown in Northern Michigan for their engagement session! You’d never know by looking at these photos that it was actually a very hot day in late September!

Liz and Dan are the sweetest couple! They are incredibly kind, driven, hardworking individuals and they make an awesome team. I loved exploring Northern Michigan with these two and photographing their session where Dan grew up. We started in Manistee National Forest, which is just beautiful. Dan’s dad drove us to a spot in the forest where Dan’s parents go every year for New Year’s Eve to ring in the new year. It was so sweet that we got to capture photos there!

If you have never been to Northern Michigan before, you should definitely add it to your travel list. There are amazing lakes, forests, and natural beauty everywhere you look! It was fun to see all of the spots Liz and Dan love in Mesick! I have so many favorite images from Liz and Dan’s session – it was hard to narrow down a few to share in their blog post! They are so stinking cute together! The last photo in this post is my absolute favorite from their session (in addition to all the images with their pups!).
