Jordan and Ben’s wedding day at the Pine Knob Carriage House began with a lot of rain. Not just a a light rain. But a heavy, torrential downpour that only the beginning of October in Michigan can bring! They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck – so Jordan and Ben’s marriage is sure to be a lucky one! Fortunately, it cleared up for the entire afternoon so they could still have their outdoor ceremony and we were able to capture all of their beautiful Fall photos outside! The weather was definitely on our side that day because the second everyone was seated inside for dinner, the rain started back up again!

Everything about Jordan and Ben’s wedding day was so classic! From the burgundy wine colored dresses and navy suits, to the bright florals, it was just a stunning day from start to finish. One of my favorite parts of Jordan and Ben’s day was the moment they shared before the ceremony where they privately read their vows and held hands. It was so sweet to witness! I just loved that they decided to do that!

After the ceremony, we took some beautiful photos outside the Pine Knob Carriage House, including an amazing petal toss with the entire bridal party! Amy of MI Honeybee Flowers saved us a few beautiful roses just so the group could toss petals at the newlyweds! It was so darn fun! After some fun bridal party photos, we ventured up to the Pine Knob Mansion to take photos in the garden and by the overlook. It was truly stunning and I have so many favorite images!

Jordan and Ben are so loved by their family and friends and it was evident that family is very important to these two. Jordan’s dad and brother gave beautiful toasts and had many people in tears. The whole day just radiated love for these two and that’s just the best. It was truly a wonderful day for a wonderful couple.
