Welcome to the Brp journal
I had been looking forward to Angela and Blake’s winter engagement session at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House for months! I knew right away when I met Angela and Blake that we were going to be fast friends and I couldn’t wait to hang out with them again. Angela really wanted snowy engagement photos and we had planned to take them in January. But this Michigan winter has been super unpredictable and we had zero snow the day we were originally supposed to shoot! We rescheduled for February and I am SO glad we held off for a snowy day! The engagement photos we captured are so beautiful!! It just so happened that we got 13 inches of snow two days before. We couldn’t have gotten any luckier!
When I say Angela and Blake are one of the cutest couples ever, I sincerely mean it. These two are beyond adorable together and are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met! I had so much fun hanging out with them and trekking through the crazy snowdrifts at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House. It was so worth it! I just love the Ford House in Grosse Pointe – the grounds are just so beautiful and the snow made it look magical! Angela has the best style and I just loved all of her winter outfits. I wanted to steal her chic green J.Crew peacoat!! 😉
Jason was my second photographer for this sweet engagement session and I’m pretty darn proud of him. See if you can spot some of his side angle photos throughout the post. I think he’s got a hidden talent for photography!
I seriously can’t get over this session and how much fun Angela and Blake have together. Their smiles make me smile! Congratulations Angela & Blake!! I hope you love your photos as much as I do and I absolutely can’t wait for your September wedding! I know it’s going to be an AMAZING day!
