This seemed like the perfect day to blog Emily and Darin’s lovely summer garden wedding at Michigan State University as it is their one month anniversary! How has it already been one month!? This was by far one of the best weddings I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of. Emily and Darin got married on a beautiful June day amongst their closest friends and family and this day couldn’t have been filled with any more love. Darin is a talented musician and the couple met at a show a few years ago that Darin was playing and they have been inseparable ever since. It was truly one of those rare love at first sight moments. These two have such a deep love and admiration for each other that just radiates from them. Emily and Darin were made for each other.

Everything about this day was perfect, from start to finish. Emily had the prettiest details, including vintage earrings and her grandmother’s pearl necklace. She even had a pillow made from her grandmother’s wedding dress! I loved Emily’s first looks with her bridesmaids, dad, and grandfather. I was in tears behind my camera when Emily’s grandfather told her how proud he was of her and how much her grandmother would have loved Darin. Their outdoor ceremony was perfect and the moment Darin saw Emily for the first time was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever captured. I had so much fun with their awesome bridal party, too! Emily and Darin’s portraits are a true reflection of how natural they are together and their incredible love story. They didn’t need any help capturing these amazing photos!

Emily and Darin’s wedding day was an amazing celebration of their love and future together. This was such an incredibly fun day and it really shows in their photos! Right down to the popsicles during the reception! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for welcoming me into your lives and choosing me to photograph your wedding.
