You know it was one helluva a wedding day when you find yourself in tears while editing! I absolutely can’t get over all these sweet moments! Lauren and Kyle’s stunning September Shepherd’s Hollow wedding day was absolutely amazing. All day long we kept saying we felt like we were in Charleston! From the gorgeous weather, to the wonderful wedding party, to the vibrant bouquets, every little detail was perfect. And then of course, Lauren and Kyle themselves are just wonderful humans and two of the kindest people ever. It truly felt like we were hanging out with best friends all day long and loving every second of it.

Lauren and Kyle shared the sweetest first look on the beautiful Southern wraparound porch at Shepherd’s Hollow to begin the wedding day festivities. Before their first look, I asked Kyle if he was ready to see Lauren. Already visibly emotional, he looked me straight in the eye and said no. He already had tears in the corners of his eyes before he ever laid eyes on her! It was honestly one of the cutest moments I have ever seen. I always go on and on about how much I love first looks, but there is truly a reason why. The beautiful quiet moment where a couple gets to see each other for the first time, uninterrupted and without tons of eyes watching, is just so special. It’s always an honor to witness and capture. After their first look, we took so many amazing portraits around Shepherd’s Hollow and I’m seriously obsessed. Shepherd’s Hollow is a stunner of a venue and I fell in love with it! Everything exudes Southern elegance and the tall trees everywhere make it feel like a secret forest. The background of trees was the perfect setting for Lauren and Kyle’s outdoor ceremony. Their entire ceremony was so heartfelt and full of so many laughs and tears. Lauren and Kyle wrote vows to each other and they were simply perfect. I loved how Lauren and Kyle would go from bursts of laughter to drying their tears. Everyone watching them was bursting with love and emotion.

I have SO many favorite photos from their day, it was so hard to narrow them down to just one blog post! I could go on and on about these two and their lovely wedding, but I think these photos really speak for themselves. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lachowicz!
