This lovely Lansing engagement session is long overdue and I’m so excited to share! This past Fall was by far my busiest few months ever – I’m still playing catchup on blogging! Better late than never though, right? This is definitely a new favorite engagement session of mine. I still remember the day I got Irda’s sweet email! She told me she had been following me on Instagram for a while and was blown away by my work. It still warms my heart! We met up for coffee and I instantly felt like we were friends. Months later I’m still so excited Irda and Stephen chose me to be their wedding photographer! This awesome couple has made Lansing home, but Irda grew up in the Metro Detroit area and they wanted to showcase the beauty of Detroit for their wedding.

We got lucky and had the most beautiful Fall evening for their engagement session! We got to capture photos at the Capitol in Downtown Lansing, their new home, and by the Lansing River! Irda told me that Stephen is super photogenic and while I completely agree, I also can’t get over Irda’s incredible smile! Seriously, you can’t help but smile looking through these engagement photos. Her beaming smile is contagious! You can tell these two are perfect together and an amazing match. Plus, they are genuinely the nicest and kindest people! I have so many favorite images from their engagement session – it was so hard to narrow down!
