Downtown Detroit has my heart for engagement sessions and I’m so excited to share Jessica and Henry’s engagement photos! This past Fall was filled with so many wonderful sessions that I got a little behind on blogging, but I’m working on catching up! At the end of October, I met Jessica and Henry bright and early on a beautiful morning for their sunrise engagement session in Downtown Detroit. I had talked to Jessica and Henry via Skype and email but I hadn’t had a chance to meet them in person yet. I was looking forward to their session for a LONG time and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!! From the second they stepped out of their hotel, I instantly felt like we were best friends. These two are just so joyful, kind, and fun! Jessica and Henry drove all the way from Chicago to do their engagement photos in Downtown Detroit with me and they remembered how much I love coffee (especially Intelligentsia!) so they brought me bags of coffee beans all the way from Chicago! Seriously, how amazing is that!?

These college sweethearts have been together for over five years and both call Chicago home, but they travel frequently on adventures around the globe. They actually got engaged on top of a mountain in Asia!! They are just the coolest. I have loved getting to know this special couple over the last few months and I am over the moon excited for their wedding in Downtown Chicago next May! I just know their day is going to be an amazing celebration and I absolutely can’t wait. Congratulations again Jessica & Henry!!
