I had been looking forward to Brooke and Brian’s gorgeous end of summer wedding for months and it did not disappoint!! You might remember these two from their engagement session on Belle Isle – they are just the sweetest couple! We started the day at Brooke’s parents’ house and I had so much fun hanging out with the girls as they got ready. They had the cutest matching pink robes and bridesmaids cups! Brooke had the most stunning details and her bridal portraits are hands down some of my all time favorites. I swear she’s a model! Brian’s groomsmen were so kind and all of the guys looked so handsome in their classic black tuxes! The ceremony was at their family church in Shelby Township and Brian had the sweetest smile when he saw Brooke walking down the aisle! After the ceremony, Brian’s dad was so overjoyed to welcome Brooke into the family. I can’t even pretend I didn’t tear up behind the camera!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful September day for their wedding! We got to capture their lovely photographs at the private Heritage Gardens in Shelby Township, which I just loved. It was a perfect spot for photos! Every little detail of Brooke and Brian’s day was so beautiful and special. They even had a table at the reception with photographs from the weddings of their parents and grandparents. Brooke and Brian have known each other since they were in middle school, so their special wedding day was in the making for a long time! It was so fitting that their first dance song was “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran! Everyone had the best time celebrating Brooke and Brian, including Kevin Connolly from Entourage! The dance floor was packed all night with close friends and family. I just loved being apart of this wedding. Congratulations Brooke and Brian and thank you SO much for trusting me to capture your wedding! Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness!!
