I just love engagement sessions and I had so much fun hanging out with Alexandra and John for their engagement photos in Royal Oak! A sweet new friend of mine referred Alexandra and John to me and I’m SO glad she did! I got to meet Alexandra earlier in the summer at my favorite place coffee in Royal Oak for the first time and I just knew we were going to be fast friends. She told me about how mutual friends introduced her and John, how their first date was at the Brewery in Royal Oak, and how that’s where they purchased their first home together. Their love story centers around the city and so it couldn’t have been any more fitting that they wanted to capture their engagement photos in the place they’ve made their home. We even stopped at their house to take a few photos on their front porch! How cute is that!?

It was a super hot July evening when we took photos, but you seriously wouldn’t even know it from these photos! Alexandra and John were just so sweet together. I sincerely love all of the photos we captured, but I think my favorites are the ones on the rooftop with the city of Royal Oak behind them. It’s just so perfect. Alexandra’s long-time friend Ashleigh is super talented and created a sweet sign for “The Ubertis”! Ashleigh has an amazing shop called With Love, From Buffalo with custom made items that she makes herself! This is definitely a new favorite engagement session for me and I can’t wait for their amazing wedding next July! Thank you both so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer!!
