I’ve been posting sneak peeks from this engagement session in Downtown Detroit on Instagram for a while now and I’m so excited to finally share all of the photos on the blog! I know I’m a little biased since Shaina is my sister, but I really think these might be some of my all time favorite photos. Especially the black and whites! Shaina and Zach have been together for a very long time, since their college days as Spartans at Michigan State. They’ve grown a lot in the last few years – Zach moved to California to pursue his engineering career and Shaina moved to Iowa for medical school. It’s not easy having a long distance relationship across country but these two manage to make it look easy. They just have so much fun together. Shaina looked stunning in her bright blue dress and Zach was so handsome all dressed up in his suit! It was very special to capture photos of these two sweethearts and hang out in Detroit with them on a Winter morning (plus Jason of course, who is always so kind to carry my extra gear). Thank you Shaina and Zach for braving the cold temperatures with me – I hope you love these photos as much as I do!
