Welcome to the Brp journal
I have been looking forward to sharing Sarah and Maks’ amazing Waterview Loft Detroit wedding on the blog for weeks!! Their special day was the perfect way to end 2019 and ring in 2020! I absolutely love New Year’s Eve weddings and this day was no exception!
We started the day at the Renaissance Center Hotel in Downtown Detroit where everyone got ready. The bridal suite was all smiles as everyone got their hair and makeup done! You can just tell Sarah is so loved by her friends and family and there was so much excitement in the air that day. Sarah shared the sweetest first look with her dad and she gave him the cutest cufflinks for the day. The photos of Sarah with her parents at the hotel are honestly some of my favorites from the entire day. I love when my brides are so close with their parents. It’s just the best! Maks also had some special moments with his parents as well, including a beautiful moment where his mom prayed over him. I loved those images!
Sarah and Maks shared their own first look and I loved how big Maks’ smile was when he saw Sarah for the first time! It was just the cutest!! I love how these two are best friends. You can just tell they are so sweet together. After their first look, we headed around Detroit for some photos before the ceremony. The weather on New Year’s Eve in Michigan is always a bit of a gamble and that day was definitely a cold and windy one! Everyone in the bridal party was such good sports about going outside for a few photos! You guys rock!
These two were married in a beautiful historic Detroit church before we celebrated their Waterview Loft Detroit wedding! Maks’ family is from Poland and they had a traditional Polish Catholic ceremony in a beautiful nod to his family and their heritage.
Sarah and Maks’ Waterview Loft Detroit wedding was absolutely stunning. I was blown away when I walked into the room! There were candles everywhere, beautiful florals, personalized champagne bottles for each guest, and the most unique NYE sparkling balls for awesome centerpieces! Everything was just so elegant and glittery – absolutely perfect for a New Year’s Eve wedding celebration.
Speeches will always be one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. It was so wonderful to hear all of the amazing things their family and wedding party said about Sarah and Maks. I always feel so lucky to have such incredible couples that have such beautiful hearts. Sarah and Maks are so darn loved and that was an honor to photograph.
I could go on and on about their wedding day, but I’ll let these photos do the rest of the talking. Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Molek!! Thank you for choosing me to capture these memories for you!
