Stephanie and Nate were married a few weeks ago on a rainy Saturday and it couldn’t have been more lovely. Their summer Grosse Pointe Yacht Club wedding was nothing short of amazing and I am still so honored I got to be a part of it! I arrived at Stephanie’s parent’s home in Grosse Pointe and instantly was welcomed by the entire family and wedding party. My couples are seriously the BEST.

These two are both talented doctors and they have amazing hearts. They are both such accomplished individuals and such a powerhouse team, but so humble and kind. Stephanie is one of the biggest sweethearts I have ever met. I just adore her! Stephanie grew up in Grosse Pointe and it only made sense that these two celebrated the start of their marriage with their Grosse Pointe Yacht Club wedding!

Stephanie wanted to incorporate many important family elements into her day. We started at Stephanie’s parents’ home, but then headed to Stephanie’s Papou’s home for portraits and getting ready photos. Stephanie’s grandparents are incredibly special to her and she really wanted to honor them. Her grandmother passed the year before their wedding but she was truly present all day long. Stephanie wanted a photo with her grandmother and the photos of her with her grandmother’s portrait will forever hold a special place in my heart. I cried with her while taking those images. It was incredibly special. Stephanie also shared a sweet first look with her Papou and a special first dance with him. Both Stephanie and Nate’s families were such a big part of the day and it was so heartfelt.

Set against the water, their Grosse Pointe Yacht Club wedding was just flawless. Wait until you see these images! They are for sure favorites of mine!
