If I could describe Amanda and Dylan’s engagement session at The War Memorial in one word, it would definitely be classic. I swear these two could be J.Crew models! I met up with these two in mid-September for their engagement photos and it was such a lovely day. It wasn’t too terribly hot or cold and the sun was shining. I was so glad the weather cooperated for us!

Amanda and Dylan are seriously two of the sweetest and nicest people I have ever met. They instantly made me feel like we’ve known each other for years! I loved third wheeling it with these two around The War Memorial for their session. I absolutely love how happy they are in every single photo. You can see the joy in their faces and that just makes me so happy. It’s the best when couples genuinely have fun together at their sessions!

The Grosse Pointe War Memorial is always one of my favorite places – the architecture is just beautiful and I love that it’s right on the water! The War Memorial is an amazing place for a wedding, but it’s also the perfect location for engagement sessions. There are so many great spots on the property around The War Memorial and everything is just so pretty! I don’t think Dylan and Amanda are even capable of taking a bad photo. They are such a beautiful couple! I have so many favorites from their engagement session! I love the photos we took by the water and on the grounds with the entire War Memorial behind them. The photos on the steps are so classic!

Congratulations Amanda and Dylan! I hope you love your engagement photos and I can’t wait for your wedding next summer in Detroit! I know it’s going to be an incredible day and I’m so darn honored I get to be apart of it!
